about us:
My husband Joe and I have three children and by the time the summer is over, we will have gained a son-in-law!! Living in Potosi, Wisconsin will not now nor ever make me a "cheese-head"! Nor will I start drinking Potosi Light even though we, as residents of Potosi, have or will become the National Brewery Museum beating out St. Louis and Milwaukee for the honors! I will, however, continue to talk all the time as a sign language interpreter! (I talk in church, movies, the classroom and across the soccer field without causing a disturbance!!~~~so far!!) In my "spare" time...I enjoy dancing, hazelnut hot chocolate, green tea and twisting my hair...but especially being with the kids when they can come home!!
Laurie married her high school sweetheart, Joe, settled in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and has raised a beautiful family which includes her grandson Jack who will be one year old on February 28th, 2009. This is a remarkable achievement as her annual holiday letters continue to list her age as 34.
Rich owns McDowell Truck and Auto Repair, Towing and Snow Removal. When most of us are vacationing in sensible climates he is working 24-7 to keep Manchester's winter streets safe and clean. Rich enjoys coed softball, volleyball and visiting Las Vegas a few times a year.
Dave Koehne is married to Cassie, a beautiful mathematician who is much too good for him. He serves as a poor example to their three grown children and their Labrador Retriever.
On July 24, 2008 he became a grandfather to a new granddaughter, Aubree Anne McBride.
They divide their time between Mount Zion, Illinois and New Orleans, Louisiana.
